You don't recognize this photo of the Bridge of Sighs ( enclosed bridge in the background)? That's because most people see that famed bridge only from the front - the lagoon side - but I thought it would be fun to walk around to the rear of St. Mark's Basilica to see what the Bridge of Sighs looked like from the back. Have fun trying different angles and you might like the results even better than the more standard shots. Yes, keep looking through my Venice photos and you'll find one showing the front of the Bridge of Sighs taken when I was passing by on a cruise ship. Shooting from ships arriving and departing Venice generally results in incredible photos. Be sure and try it!
